Why am I reserved and introverted in this life?

Josephine wanted to find out the reason for her being reserved and introverted in this life.

She was regressed to the year 1919 in Bintulu Sarawak, Malaya.

“I am a young boy, around 6 years, dark skinned, barefooted and wearing shorts. I am playing in a swampy ground. It is muddy and I can feel the soft, cold mud beneath my feet. “

“There is a longhouse nearby. It is made of bamboo. It looks quite large and long. I am running back to the longhouse and climbing up the steps. The steps are made from two logs, arranged in a parallel line, on which footholds for steps were cut.  The outside of the longhouse is bright and there is a woman clad in a red sarong at the far end. She is sitting on the bamboo floor with her back leaning against the wall.  She seems to be over seventy years old. The outside of the longhouse is decorated with human skulls, hung in a row. The inside of the longhouse is dark. There are some women cooking. There is a lady washing and hanging clothes. “

In the next scene, she said, “I am now in my twenties, wearing a tribal costume. I am holding a spear in my right hand and a shield in my left hand. I am running into the jungle with a group of friends. We ran quietly and fast amongst the tall lalang grass. We spotted a wild boar. The others aimed at the wild boar. I also took up my arrow and aimed at the wild boar. I don’t remember firing the arrow but the wild boar died. We are carrying the wild boar upside down with its legs tied to the two long poles. We carried the ends of the poles on our shoulders. We brought it back to the longhouse to be cooked.”

“I am standing beside a swampy lake.  I am boarding a rowing boat. There is a boatman on the boat. The two of us made our way to a small “island” in the swampy lake. The water in the swamp was clear and there were many bakau trees everywhere. It is quiet and peaceful.  We have reached the “island”. It was fringed with bakau trees. I can see their roots sticking out of the water and the soil is dark in colour. We docked our boat on the ground and stepped out of the boat.”

“I can see stone slabs and things made out of stone which looks like a place of worship. There is a well nearby. I looked into the well which was covered with wire mesh.”

As there were no further scenes, Josephine was brought out of regression.

On the next visit, Josephine was regressed to the same location .

She says, “I am twelve years old. I am holding an axe in my hand and chopping firewood. There are trees around me. There is a longhouse on stilts. A lady wearing sarong was standing at the doorway. I have a dog, black in colour. I am barefooted.

In the next scene, she says, “I am now older, around eighteen years. I am holding a spear in my left hand. I went hunting in the forest with a group of young men. There were five of us in that group. I am now in the forest, but now I had a “buluh sumpitan” (native traditional dart weapon made of bamboo) in my hands. We were aiming for something in the trees. It was a bird or something big, but it got away. Then we went deeper into the forest. I could hear the twigs breaking under our feet. We were walking quite noisily.  We walked into the dense forest. Lalang, trees and thick foliage covered our vision. We stopped when we saw two wild boars. One was a mother and her child. They were black in colour. The mother got away. We took the baby back. We tied it upside down to two poles and carried it on our shoulders. When we came back, the village headman started to rebuke us. I’m not sure why, perhaps it was because we brought home the wrong animal.”

In the next scene, she said, “I am in a sampan with my dog. I rowed the sampan to the “island” in the swamp. Then I tied my sampan to a bakau tree. There were lalang and bakau trees fringing the island. The island was uninhabited. I went to the northwest part of the island. There is a concrete structure there, made of cement slabs. There is a well with a bucket. The well is around 4 feet wide. I looked into the well and all I could see was darkness and my reflection staring back at me. I unwound the bucket into the well.”

I later entered a building. I opened a wooden trapdoor in the floor and went downstairs with a torchlight. I have left my dog outside in the open. The torch is short and fat and projected a bright light.  It is musty down here. I can see cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and walls. I can smell a damp, musty smell. I walked and found myself at a large cave-like area. I can hear water dripping / flowing. There is a gap in the “roof” of the cave and the sunlight is streaming through. I am standing facing a pool of water which came from an underground river. I bathed in that pool of water. Later, I climbed on a ledge and sat there. It gave me peace from the outside world. The only sounds I heard were the sounds of water flowing.”

The next scene was back in the village. “It is chaotic. People are running helter skelter. Enemy tribes have attacked our village”, she gasped. “I was running, my heart was thumping fast and adrenaline was rushing through me. I couldn’t breathe properly because of the thick white smoke,” she related. “Later, the battle subsided. I think I was the sole survivor. My family and relatives had all perished in the fire. I felt sad and lonely. I am thirty-six years old.”

After that lifetime, she was brought to a place of love and light for healing. “I saw hands sewing a heart into my body with a needle and thread. I was feeling happier that I had a heart. They waved their hands over my body and all the stitches and scars disappeared. I felt so much happier,” she related.

She said that the lesson that she had learnt from that lifetime was “Letting Go”. To let go of all negative experiences and start life anew. She said that the relation her current lifetime was  about perseverance. I have always persevered even if I am in an unfavourable condition or circumstance.” She was satisfied with her regression and found that it gave her the answers that she was looking for.
